URL Encoder processes the text you enter directly in your browser. Encoding and decoding are performed with browser-based JavaScript, so your input is not sent to a server for conversion, stored by this tool, or shared by this tool.

Information stored on your device

The site may save your light or dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. This preference stays on your device and can be removed by clearing your browser’s site data.

Technical requests

Like most websites, the service that delivers this site may receive basic technical information needed to load a page, such as your browser type, IP address, and request time. This information is separate from text entered into the encoder.

Third-party services and analytics

This site loads web fonts from Bunny Fonts. Their service may receive a standard request from your browser when the fonts load. We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregated site usage. Google may collect technical and usage information through its analytics service; text entered into the encoder is not included in the tool’s conversion requests. Please review each provider’s policies for details about their own processing.
